Kitiera (Patricia Morehead) is a second generation belly dancer and world dance artist based in Seattle, WA. She has a diverse dance background spanning 20 years of devoted study and performance.

Kitiera is well-known for her signature stylization ModRom Belly Dance, which is a unique and dynamic fusion of Rom, Jazz, and Belly dance. She is a diverse and versatile performer whose emotional delivery and intricate choreography wow audiences all over the world. Kitiera performs a wide range of dance styles and modalities with precision, nuance, and intent.

Originally, Kitiera was inspired to dance in the Society for Creative Anachorism at a very young age. Kitiera's formal dance training began under Phyllidia (Lexington, KY) in 1994. From 2006-2009, Kitiera spent her time in California studying intensively with legendary dance masters Suhaila and Jamila Salimpour. Kitiera is a former member of Suhaila's performing companies, is level 3 SSBD certified, level 1 JSBD certified, and also was an instructor at the SSSBD studio in Albany, CA.

Currently Kitiera directs the ModRom Dance Collective and teaches classes in Seattle and Bainbridge Island, WA. In addition to her own work, she is a member of Fleurs d’Egypte Dance Company, directed by Najla. She continues her advanced level studies with Suhaila Salimpour and also studies with esteemed Dance Ethnologist Helene Eriksen and ballet master Sara Cramer.

Kitiera is also a writer, poet, painter, and musician.
