Kitiera is a second generation belly dancer and world dance artist based in both Seattle, WA, and Newark, CA. She has a diverse dance background spanning 18 years of devoted study and performance.

Kitiera is most well-known for her signature stylization "ModRom" belly dance, which is a unique and dynamic fusion of Rom, jazz, and belly dance. She defies labels and boundaries, while unmistakeably staying rooted and connected to the foundations and the cultures of the movement she fuses.

Recently, Kitiera spent several years in California studying intensively with Suhaila and Jamila Salimpour. Kitiera is a former member of Suhaila's Repertoire Ensemble and also was an instructor at the SSSBD studio in Albany, CA.

Currently Kitiera divides her time between California and Washington, directs the ModRom Dance Collective, and works to develop and promote her own "ModRom" and "Erin" Belly Dance fusion styles. She is in relentless pursuit of knowledge in movement modalities, and is proud to be a perpetual and dedicated student of dance in all its varied forms. She is also a writer, poet, painter, and musician.
